COG Ride 19th June

As it was our 3rd Thursday of the month we have a longer rider. We cycled over towards Dunkeld but took the Murthly turn before it to complete a figure of eight back to Inchture. Going through Meikleour and Murthly back to Balbeggie then Inchture.

Big numbers out again which is great to see. Weather was perfect although did get a bit colder later in the ride. Fast going to, with a major hurt on between Lynton – Kinclaven from the big guns Jamie, Pedro, Brian and Co.

COG Ride 6th March

Short ride last night because the weather started out rather wet and it was Pedro’s birthday (pub was beconing).

Happy birthday Pedro!

Nearly lost an Olly last night who was flying so fast down the tullybaccart decent he flew past the Collace junction luckily Kieran pulled him back – nice work Kieran.

Descending from North Ballo down through Abernyte was a bit scary with the thick fog – no injuries though and everyone made it safely to the pub for Pedro’s Birthday Pints 🙂

COG Ride 27th Feb

Turned out to be a great night with a touch of star gazing – Aurora Borealis. Big numbers and not to cold either which was perfect. Slight deviation from planned route due to a traffic accident at St. Madoes. Also 2 punctures didn’t help the return leg but seeing the Northern Lights did make up for it. 🙂
