Loop of the Carse last night with a good show of riders and the weather was great with only a little wind. A bit of an APR thrown in to the ride which is always good fun.
Inchture > Abernyte > Balbeggie > Collace > Balthayock > Glencarse > St. Madoews > Errol > Inchture Hotel
Enjoyable loop to Perth and back to Inchture taking in some nice climbs – Glencarse, Kinnoull, Rait and Kinnaird. The wind was a bit rubbish on our return but we had some strong legs on the front Pedro and Nick – nice work chaps.
Good miles for this time of year gents looked like a superb ride and I heard you had all four seasons, hopefully we will be seeing more of the sunshine soon…
Errol >Rait > Scone > Perth > Methven > The Sma Glen > Amulree > Drumour Wood > Little Dunkeld > The Green > Meikelour > Northballo > Abernyte > Inchture > Errol
Turned out to be a great night with a touch of star gazing – Aurora Borealis. Big numbers and not to cold either which was perfect. Slight deviation from planned route due to a traffic accident at St. Madoes. Also 2 punctures didn’t help the return leg but seeing the Northern Lights did make up for it. š
The COG trio (Pete,Pedro & Steve) opted for a leisurely spin around the Tay, well leisurely for Pedro at pace for most other people š Well done guys good miles for this time of year and considering it was snowing the day before in Perth.
Pleasant clear night with a bit of wind, great thrusday night club ride. The steady pace from Pedro and Chris ensured no one was cold. 6 riders out last night.
Good turn out for a cold night in the Carse. 7 brave souls venturing up Kinaird out to Collace then over to Errol and back to Inchture. Wind was mostly in our face going out well Pedro’s and a gentle push on our return leg.
Looks like the wonderful weather is finally coming to an end… Very wet and windy Cog ride numbers slightly dwindled with 6 strong battling the elements. Also a new rider joining us – welcome Frances nice having you along.
