Cold and wet Cog ride last night, brave guys last night, Rule #5 was definately in play. And for those who weren’t out one word slackers! Jamie and Nick opted for more rain and pain than others with an extra loop – well done chaps.

Road and Off-road action last night! With some riders trying out their CX skills through Rossie and beyond. While the mountain goats Chris and Steven go for a spin up Carse of Gowrie Death Climb 🙂
Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote 2013 sounds scary just reading about the course never mind actually completing it! We have one crazy man who did just that and finished in an impressive 17th place in his age group. A huge well done to you Francesco! You have earned youself an ice-cream!
Scottish Cyclo-Cross Series started at the weekend with Auchentoshan, Clydebank the first on the calendar and a very technical course. We had 2 riders flying the flag for COG Velo Pete and Ali. They both thourghly enjoyed themselves and would recommend to anyone who likes its dirty 😉
So it was the first Cycl0-Cross event for both riders and for the club – well done guys and of course our good friend Barry who finished 13th in his age group (show off!).
Looks like the wonderful weather is finally coming to an end… Very wet and windy Cog ride numbers slightly dwindled with 6 strong battling the elements. Also a new rider joining us – welcome Frances nice having you along.
Well done to the brave 3 who took up the challenge on Saturday to race in the Dundee and District Hill Climb. A little cycle up Abernyte as fast as you can muster – definately more fun coming down!

Will need to bring a road bike, although may use track bikes there depending on numbers. Track bikes have look Keo pedals.
There will still be a club ride starting at Inchture hotel at usual 18:30

We had all categories covered by COG and namely the Duncan family. Our youngest was the highest placed of the day – very well done to Stu!
