First of the longer evenings, we just need the warm weather now! Five riders tonight Nick, Brian, David, Ali, Chris and Jay. Finally got rolling after a delayed start – coffe indeed huff! Did two hills route with slight showers which made it quite cold.
Congratulations to COG member Robbie, and son of ex-COG member Barry – Mark McGuire 😉 , for their awesome performances at Strathpuffer and appearances on last Sundays adventure show.
A kit sponsorship deal for newly formed cycling club Carse of Gowrie Velo will have a peleton of keen road cyclists setting off on the right track with smiles on their faces.
Crazy trio of Ben, David and Chris – on a very cold and windy ride Tay loop (tour de Tay) clockwise. Wind in our faces most of the journey and icy roads to contend with on higher ground – not ideal for road bikes! David can vouch for this as he planted into the snow just past Gauldry, he is ok though.
Good turn out last night 9 riders and a good ride with a few hill sprints. And we should mention steph skinned 8 guys to take the first 30mph sign – well done Steph! Weather stayed quite mild and fresh.
